"MISS JEN" KONTUR
(owner/lead teacher)





Years of Teaching Gymnastics: since 2003


Most Loved Gymnastics Event: balance beam


Favorite Part of Teaching at LLG: "My favorite part is seeing my vision come to life. I absolutely love the community we have created here and the relationships I have formed along the way. I truly enjoy going to work every day and getting to use my creativity in planning lessons and events. Helping children conquer skills that they never thought they could do and watching them grow as individuals never gets old to me!"


Fun Fact: Jen is a licensed school teacher and spent several years as a Title 1 Teacher and even taught Physical Education. Besides doing gymnastics growing up, she is also very good at bowling and loves to watch all things dance related. Jen, her husband and three children all love Disney and travel there often so next time you see her try to stump her on Disney trivia.

Favorite Part of Teaching at LLG: "My favorite part of teaching at LLG is connecting with the students. Building those connections while watching them grow and advance is very special!"


Fun Fact: Sophie was a competitive gymnast and cheerleader for many years. She took a year off from working at LLG to move to Florida, but is now back!

Favorite Part of Teaching at LLG: "My favorite part of teaching at Learning Ladder Gymnastics is all of the amazing families! We have so much fun together! It's cool to watch their little eyes light up when they make a new friend or master a new skill. It's fun to dance, jump, swing, and be a little silly for a few hours!"


Fun Fact: Caitlin wears a size 2 children's shoe and is only 4'11'' tall. I guess you can say she is pint-sized! Caitlin also has a mental health and wellness blog called Reel Chat that she is very passionate about.



MISS SARAH

Most Loved Gymnastics Event: it's a tie between the uneven bars and floor exercise


Favorite Part of Teaching at LLG: "My favorite part of teaching is being able to grow a connection with the gymnasts. I love not only making a connection with them but watching their skills grow and evolve. Gymnastics is definitely not an easy sport, success is earned. It's rewarding seeing the look on the kids faces when mastering a new skill."


Fun Fact: Sarah was a competitive gymnast for 7 years. She stopped when training for level 9 due to an injury. A highlight for her was when she won State Champ. Sarah loves gymnastics and can't get enough of it!"



MISS MIRANDA

Favorite Part of Teaching at LLG: "My favorite part of teaching at LLG would be building relationships with the kids and watching them discover new things."


Fun Fact: Miranda did gymnastics from the time she was a baby until high school. She also enjoys traveling, especially to her favorite place which is Disney!"



MISS JENNIFER

Most Loved Gymnastics Event: uneven bars


Favorite Part of Teaching at LLG: "My favorite part is seeing how proud and excited students are when they learn a new skill or attempt something that maybe they have been scared to do."


Fun Fact: Jennifer was introduced to Learning Ladder from her daughter Ava who has taught here and loved it! When she left for college at Ohio State, I was excited to get the opportunity to come back into the gym and start teaching again. Jennifer coached before she was born, took a break and was a gym/cheer mom but is excited to be in the gym again as a coach.

Favorite Part of Teaching at LLG: "My favorite part about teaching at LLG would have to be the students! Building relationships and watching these young athletes grow both in their gymnastics skills and as people is beyond rewarding."


Fun Fact: Mia started cheering competitively when she was 3 and is currently a Kent State University Cheerleader!

Favorite Part of Teaching at LLG: "My favorite part about teaching at LLG is helping little kids have fun and learn new skills."

MISS KILEY

Years of Teaching Gymnastics: since 2023


Most Loved Gymnastics Event: floor exercise


Favorite Part of Teaching at LLG: "My favorite part of teaching is watching the progress of each student and seeing their improvement. I love watching the joy on their faces when they discover new things."


Fun Fact: Kiley has trained as a gymnast, dancer and cheerleader. Miss Jen was her first gymnastics teacher when she was 3 years old! Kiley is currently a cheerleader at Woodridge High School.



MISS BETH
(art teacher)





Years of Teaching Art: 20 + years


Years with Learning Ladder: since 2017


Favorite Part of Teaching at LLG: "I love how much creativity and thought goes into every class and event at Learning Ladder. Learning Ladder is about gymnastics but also so much more. My favorite thing is seeing the kids get excited; whether it be learning a new gymnastics skill or doing a fun art project or just having fun! I also love all the people I've met...both kids and adults!"


Fun Fact: In addition to Learning Ladder, Miss Beth also currently works with adults with developmental disabilities doing art therapy. Beth has two kids who both love gymnastics and a kitty named Dr. Bunsen Honeydew. She loves trees, starry skies and spending time with her family and friends.
